All,
I am concerned that a number of you have "undersized" your child's uniform (this based on comparisons from last year's percentages). Therefore, we are going to have TWO uniform sizing nights this weekend. They will be held at the SOUTH END (away from the baseball diamonds) of Avery Park near the concession stand TONIGHT 5:30PM to 7:00PM and Sunday 6:30PM - 8:00PM. As I mentioned before, these uniforms will be used for the next two years. You may choose to buy a complete uniform each year. We also offer a credit for the jerseys for the 2nd year (all players will get a new pair of socks and a pair of shorts next year). About 10-15% of our players took advantage of this offering (the credit was $30 last year). The remaining 85-90% of the players got complete new uniforms this past year.
Even if you cannot make a sizing session, you can change your uniform sizing information by sending an e-mail to DublinMTSO@gmail.com.
We are getting closer to getting the rosters finalized. We are working on finalizing a few coaching positions. I am excited that a couple of non-parents of kids in our program have offered to step in and either help with a team or be a head coach. The Board approved of the process for creating teams. ALL PLAYERS WHO WILL NOT BE PLACED WILL BE NOTIFIED BY END-OF-DAY TODAY so that you will be able to get moved over the DSL recreational program. This number may be zero, but if not, it will be less than 10. We are still on track to be notifying coaches of their rosters by Saturday evening/Sunday. Another note will be broadcast once the rosters have been sent.
