Will teams be allowed to keep their team players together in 2009/10
we\'ve heard from our coaches that the existing dmtso teams will not be allowed to register togehter for next year. that somehow a random allocation of players to teams will be made. Is this true?

This year is no different than any other year. Returning teams returning to their same level (i.e. returning to MOSSL or remaining in a non-MOSSL league) WITH a returning coach with players desiring to stay together will stay together. The teams do not get randomly assigned ever -- much less after they have been formed.
There are situations in which teams do not stay together as a group. In the event the coach does not return, the team may be split across teams in order to fill out the rosters of teams with a returning coach. in the case of a team moving to MOSSL, it is possible that players will be better served for their individual development on a non-MOSSL team.
Otherwise, teams will stay intact once they are created.
