Middle tier teams for 12/13 year old boys (going into 7th grade)?

I have gotten some conflicting information and just wanted to clarify. According to this site, it looks as if middle tier continues on past this age group, but I was told that we either had to go to a club team or back to rec. Are there teams for boys of this age through middle tier?

Dublin United may sponser a team at higher ages, but they will not play in GOYSL - which does not allow 7th graders or higher. So don\'t confuse the Club, with the league it plays in. The only league for a DU U13 team to play in next year would be MOSSL (unless OCL or GOYSL changes their bylaws).

So, will there be more teams through Dublin United going up to the MOSSL level that some of the boys(boys from the GOYSL level) can join up with? Will the current Dublin United MOSSL teams be holding some sort of tryout to see if these kids can join their teams? Or, is the only option for these kids Team Ohio FC, OP Eagles or going back to Rec? You would think Dublin United would want to help these kids out. Ken?

We currently have four U-12 boys teams and four U-12 girls teams. I expect that we will have a minimum of two of each going forward next year. These teams will likely have an option of playing in the Ohio Champions League or MOSSL. GOYSL will still not be an option for these teams.
